Day after Thanksgiving, saw online hours may be different for Black Friday, but hours were not posted. I went to Commissary only to find locked doors at 0900 hrs and no signs dictating change of hours. I went to main exchange and asked Customer Service what time the Commissary was to open, and even they stated they should be open. I guess someone dropped the ball on what time to open. In this modern age, there is no reason hours can't be posted on the Internet, even during holiday occasions, but to not even be posted on the doors itself? I drove to Fort Gordon, Commissary (30 minutes from my house) for nothing! Thank you DECA!!! P.S. Now my husband knows what kind of inconvenience going to this facility has become.
Not a bad commissary. Feels dated inside, but I suppose that's to be expected. I've noticed however that the prices aren't always the best. Make sure do shop around to get the best deals!
Not the worst commissary but definitely one of the dirtiest. The only thing worth the trip is the deli and bakery. They are on point but Walmart has the same prices and better staff.
Employees are always friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have a larger selection of organic and natural foods. Don't expect new items or well stocked shelves, but the prices can't be beat. Make sure to check your expiration dates. I have bought several things there that were weeks or months out of date.
