The optometry section needs to get their stuff together, and stop making military personnel lose their time to by not losing their prescriptions and orders for glasses.
They barely deserve one star. I was treated like an inconvenience more than a patient. I brought in my twin one year olds, one with a severe rash. We waited for over an hour. Then the doctor asked me what I thought was wrong....and prescribed ibuprofen. Next time I'll go to a hospital that treats their patients like human beings.
I know I read everybody reviews about this hospital. As for me I like coming to this hospital. It have everything I need when I come by. I always come a1hrs before my appointment so I can get a haircut. Since I being getting my hair cut here, never waited more than 10min (love that). Also like to come in the morning for breakfast. They have a self serving line after the cafeteria is close. You get everything you need for a good breakfast. The plus its you can find a good sit, either sitting inside or outside. I like sitting outside. So if you want a good breakfast, come early and enjoy. Now the hospital parts. I have being to also every department in this hospital. I was always treated well and taking care of. The only negative I have is when you come for your appointment you have to always wait a long time and they rush you thru so they can get to the patient. Its nothing new for me, every military hospital I being too does the same thing, You just to wait. Civilian is the same way. Make you think, why do u have appointment?
The staff is very unorganized. I am currently dealing with the OB/GYN clinic and the doctors and nurses, and even the secretaries are never on the same page about anything. I am treated like a brand new patient by the front office staff every time I go into the office for a pregnancy check up. They hardly ever answer the phones, and I always have to call the doctor to remind him to put in orders for my lab work and to make future appointments. I have asked several times to be referred out of that hospital and they refuse to do so. I would never recommend this hospital or clinic to anyone.
Intentionally under diagnosing soldier's conditions (malpractice) is the only thing this "hospital" does well. They will intentionally misdiagnose soldier's to prevent them from getting the treatment they need and a potential medical board. No integrity with this place.
